info on red

ence and purity. White reflects light and is considered a summer color. White is popular in decorating and in fashion because it is light, neutral, and goes with everything. However, white shows dirt and is therefore more difficult to keep clean than other colors. Doctors and nurses wear white to imply sterility.

The most emotionally intense color, red stimulates a faster heartbeat and breathing. It is also the color of love. Red clothing gets noticed and makes the wearer appear heavier. Since it is an extreme color, red clothing might not help people in negotiations or confrontations. Red cars are popular targets for thieves. In decorating, red is usually used as an accent. Decorators say that red furniture should be perfect since it will attract attention.

Red the colour

RED relates to the BASE chakra situated at the base of the spine
The organs to which this chakra relates are the kidneys and bladder .(The kidneys are formed within the pelvis and here they link with the base chakra energy, although prior to birth they rise to the position in the loins with which we are more familiar). The vertebral column, hips and legs are also areas related to this chakra. The endocrine gland to which this colour relates is the adrenal gland.

On the psycho-spiritual level, this chakra relates to self awareness. That is to say our awareness of ourselves as human beings and our place on earth. It is the area of survival and relates to our basic human instincts of fight or flight. Red gives us courage and strength. The colour relates to stability and security.

Red has more personal associations than any other color. Recognized as a stimulant red is inherently exciting and the amount of red is directly related to the level of energy perceived. Red draws attention and a keen use of red as an accent can immediately focus attention on a particular element.

How the color red affects us mentally and physically

linked haikus

point 1: i used line in my composition to create a space so that it looks more like a scene rather than some words floating  on the page. point 2: i used the word of in the first link to create a  focal point.

point 3:i used words to create the rain drop shapes. i used the color blue to create a space above so it looks like a sky.point 4:The direction of the falling words creates a feeling of falling which also give the page direction.
point 5: the size of the words in page # one gives the composition a  hierarchy.

2 bad & 2 good websites

The first good web site i cam across was the paul frank site.I found this site easy to navigate and very  appealing.the site is easy to navigate because most of what your looking for is on the top in big letters so its not hard to find. all the pages buttons are always in the same area so you don't have to go looking for anything once you change pages.i found it appealing because of its clean and organized look. i really like the grid system that they used as well as the bright colors that keep the   fun and youthful energy up in the site.

the next site i picked as one of best i have seen was wikipedia. i picked wiki because it is very simple and  easy to navigate for just about any age group.what this site lacks in flashy colors and patterns, it makes up for in easy navigation and simple grid system.i think this site is well organized and very helpful.(even if all its facts aren't correct)

the reason i picked this site as a bad one was because of the level of contrast i didn't see.this site was for a photographer but the contrast in the words mad it a little hard to read and the colors he used in the site are a little dark and boring. i did not like the fact that all the pictures were clustered together. its to much going on and you cant focus.

This site i found to be really confusing. the letters almost blend into the back and the positioning of the buttons are very annoying this sites home looks more like a cheaply made add that they stick on your windshield wipers while your in class.if i were looking to buy anything this site has to offer i would look elsewhere because its too confusing and would take too long to locate anything i wanted.
